Mobvoi on 24th October in an event in London announced the new Ticwatch C2 (classic 2) which is available for preorder and is set to lunch on December 6th. It has an NFC chip built-in which supports Google pay a contactless payment system. There is also a GPS for outdoor activity tracking. The body material made of stainless steel is built for durability. It comes in three different colors, rose-gold, platinum and black colors respectively.
The new Ticwatch C2 is an upgrade from the Ticwatch 2 which ran on Mobvoi’s proprietary operating system (OS) before the company made the switch to Google wear OS. The new Ticwatch C2 is rated IP68 and has longer battery life.
The rose-gold straps are much slimmer with a width of 18mm while the black and platinum straps are 20mm in width sizes respectively. However, the new Ticwatch C2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chip which is considered outdated, though Qualcomm is set to release their new chip this fall. The price of the new Ticwatch C2 is about $200.
