With the next Galaxy Watches expected to be released in the next few weeks, the first ever real-life image of the Galaxy Watch 6 has been released. This is as seen on the Twitter handle of a prolific tipster, onleaks who posted images of what seems to be the tentatively named Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
Recall that in earlier leaks, it was revealed that the Galaxy Watch 6 series will be available in two models; Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. This is a replication of the Galaxy Watch 4 series which came in Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy 4 Classic.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is expected to be very similar in design to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. However, the return of the physical rotating bezel is a welcome change for many users. The rotating bezel was a popular feature on the Gear S3 series, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Watch 3 but to the surprise of many users, Samsung ditched that feature in the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
The rendered image showed a Watch with a black case and black straps. This seems to be very similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The rendered image also showed the watch will have a physical rotating bezel just as rumored earlier. The back and power button were also sighted. And there is an Arabic carving on the bezel.
From all indications, the rendered image suggests the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will look very similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Personally, I find it boring that we are stalk with similar designs for the past few years. I think it’s high time, we see a totally or at best different design.
Nonetheless, it’s interesting to see that the iconic physical rotating bezel which a lot of users love is back.
Meanwhile, from earlier leaks, the Galaxy Watch 6 is expected to have a bigger display size and a slightly longer battery life. It’s also expected to ship with the new Exynos W980 processor.
Moreover, Google has revealed that Wear OS 4 is coming this fall which suggests the Pixel Watch 2 and Galaxy Watch 6 will most likely lunch with the new operating system.
Samsung has also revealed that the One UI 5 Watch will lunch with Galaxy Watch 6. The One UI 5 Watch will come with improved sleep, running, and safety features.
With Wear OS 4 and One UI 5 Watch on Galaxy Watch 6, it will most likely be a bang.
