The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is no doubt a fantastic smartwatch. In fact, it’s already been proclaimed the best smartwatch for android by many publications. However, if there is one thing I don’t like about the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, it’s the lack of a physical rotating bezel. Samsung for reasons at their discretion decided to remove the physical rotating bezel from the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. They instead opted for a digital rotating bezel which has always been a regular for the geeky Galaxy Watch Active, Active 2, Galaxy 4, and Galaxy Watch 5. I figured the physical rotating bezel was removed to compromise the bigger battery capacity of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
However, according to Korean leaker, Super Roader, Samsung is bringing back the physical rotating bezel. And from our earlier report, the Galaxy Watch 6 series will be available in Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic just like the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
The physical rotating bezel will only be available on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic while the Galaxy Watch 5 will have a digital rotating bezel. This a return to the regular tradition.
We earlier reported that an online listing has confirmed the battery capacities for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. From the listing, the Galaxy Watch 6 will have a longer battery life than the Galaxy Watch 5. This listing also confirmed we will have 40mm and 44mm sizes for the Galaxy Watch 6 and 42mm and 46mm sizes for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. This is a return to the Galaxy Watch 4 series which had two models and four sizes in total.
Going by tradition, the Galaxy Watch 6 series are expected to arrive in August at the unpacked event where Samsung will announce their latest wearables and other devices.
