There is a new update for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 running on Tizen 5.5.0.1. The new update has the model number R820XXU1CTJ5, while the previous update has the model number, R820XXU1CTI4. You need to download and install the new update to get the new features that come with this update. The latest update brings voice guidance for auto lap and cumulative data for running and cycling activities, voice guidance through headset, and UX improvements.

What’s New?
The new features that come with the latest update include the following;
- If exercising with the watch, a voice guide is provided via a headset connected to the watch.
- Voice guidance for auto lap has been added for cycling and running sport modes. So, if you embark on any of these sport modes, you’ll get a voice guide when you reach your specified auto lap.
- A second hand won’t be shown when the always-on mode is activated.
- Plus improved system reliability and stability.
