Both smartwatches have nice and decent designs, however, GT 2 Pro has a more sophisticated design. It has a case made of titanium that extends to its bezel, while the screen is protected by sapphire glass material and the straps come in leather which are all shades of premium design. On the other hand, Watch Fit has an aluminum case paired with a silicone strap with Corning Gorilla glass covering the screen.
The Watch Fit weighs just 21g (excluding straps) compared to 52g (excluding straps) of the GT 2 Pro, so it’s very lightweight, although the GT 2 Pro isn’t heavy either.
Both smartwatches offer you lots of watch faces to choose from and are also rated 5ATM which makes any of these two safe to wear while swimming.
Like I mentioned earlier, each of these two is fitness-focused and capable of tracking your steps, calories, heart rate, sleep, and more. There is also inbuilt GPS in each of these two that allows you to track outdoor activities without having to carry your phone along. Other health tracking features include Spo2 blood oxygen measurement, menstrual cycle app, and can help you manage stress through the stress app.
However, GT 2 Pro is a more comprehensive fitness smartwatch than the lower-end Watch Fit. It features route back navigation – a feature that makes it a better smartwatch for outdoor activities as these can help you find your way back home. It also features more sports modes of 100+ compared to 96 of Watch Fit with skiing and snowboarding also present. There’s news of the ECG version of the GT 2 Pro, but it’s only available in China for now.
On the other hand, Watch Fit features animated sport modes which can help you save money on subscriptions.
Both Watch Fit and GT 2 Pro feature music storage on watch, thanks to the 4GB storage capacity of each of these two. However, GT 2 Pro has a microphone and loudspeaker that allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch when the connected phone is nearby.
The GT 2 Pro also has a longer battery life than Watch Fit, it’s tested to last up to 14 days while you can get up to 10 days with Watch Fit. In other words, it lets you go longer from a single charge.
Which is Better?
Clearly, GT 2 Pro is a better and more comprehensive smartwatch than Watch Fit. It has a premium build that is more attractive and durable, it also has a microphone, loudspeaker, longer battery life with more health tracking features.
Although, Watch Fit is cheaper, yet a fantastic smartwatch that is equipped to help you stay fit and reach more fitness goals, and keep you connected to important updates with a long battery life that lets you go long from a single charge.
