Mobvoi has released the anticipated Ticwatch Pro 3 which succeeds in Ticwatch Pro 2020, It the first Wear OS smartwatch to be powered by the Snapdragon 4100 chip. Qualcomm had earlier in July introduced the Snapdragon 4100 chip which succeeds the outdated Snapdragon 3100, the new 64bits chip which is designed on a 12nm fabrication process with a 1.7GHz speed and Adreno 504 GPU brings much-improved performance and longer battery life.
The Ticwatch Pro 3 comes with 1GB RAM which alongside the 4100 chip offers flawless performance and has a longer battery life that can go up to 3 days on smartwatch mode and about 45 days on watch only mode thanks to its FSTN display mode. It also has a microphone and loudspeaker that allows you to make and receive calls from the watch. You can also access Google Assistant to perform simple tasks with the watch simply with your voice.
New fitness tracking features have been added, this includes TicOxygen SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, TicBreathe that can help you relax, TicZen that monitors your stress, and TicHearing app that offers hearing protection. Other features include sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, calories, steps, inbuilt GPS that enables outdoor activity tracking, and 10 preset workout modes.
