The Connect 2.0 is the latest smartwatch from Movado, it joins the list of Wear OS smartwatches powered by the Snapdragon 3100. Nothing much has changed in appearance with the release of the Connect 2.0, It same stylish and classy appearance as its predecessor. In fact, the Connect was and is still one of the finest smartwatches on the market.
However, the new Connect 2 which is available in two sizes; 42mm and 44mm are both more compact than the Connect with 46.5mm case size. I don’t know how slim the new Connect 2 is, but certainly, it should be somewhere around the same 11.9mm thickness size of the Connect.
The Connect 2.0 now has 3 physical buttons, 2 push-in buttons, and a single rotating button just like the Connect 1. The 2 push-in buttons are customizable, and as such makes it easier to navigate the smaller display of the Connect 2.0.
The upgraded storage capacity of the Connect 2 sets it apart from its predecessor as a better smartwatch if you’re care more about faster performance. With 1GB RAM and the 3100 chip under the hood, the Connect 2 will perform faster than the Connect with 0.5GB RAM and 2100 chip.
Moreover, with 8GB ROM, you get to take more of your favorite tracks onboard the Connect 2.0, unlike the Connect 1 with 4GB ROM.
The Connect 2.0 is now a better activity tracker that’s better equipped to track your active life comprehensively. The Connect 2 comes with a heart rate sensor, altimeter and inbuilt GPS – all of which the Connect 1 lacks.
This enables Connect 2 to track your heart rate continuously which can help you manage your training intensity effortlessly. While the inbuilt GPS enables outdoor activity tracking for real-time pace, location, distance, and routes. The altimeter will enable the Connect 2 track floors climbed.

One of the benefits that comes with the 3100 chip is it’s significant battery life elongation based on improved and faster performance that reduces the burden on battery. With the 1GB RAM and 3100 chip, the Connect 2.0 with about 24 hours battery life which is longer than the Connect 1 which has about 12 hours battery life.
