The Difference?
- Design
- Battery
- Media
- Operating system
These three smartwatches look really nice, however the main difference can be found in the body materials which sets them apart in terms of the appearance. The new KW88 PRO and KW88 have aluminum casing material while their strap is made of silicone, this gives the two a sporty apperance while KW99 has a casing made of top grade stainless steel and the straps made of leather leaving it with a classic and elegant appearance the sort that makes it a perfect fit for official outings. That’s not to say that the KW88 and KW88 PRO won’t be a perfect match for official outing. The new KW88 PRO has a very intriguing and fascinating design that meets the eye. A great fit for any occasion.
The KW88 PRO is the slimmest and sleeker than the other two. It measures 13mm in thickness compared to KW88 13.5mm and KW99 14mm. While the KW88 PRO and KW88 have single buttons each KW99 has 2 buttons. That is an advantage of some sort, it means easier navigation.
The KW88 PRO has a bezel calibrated in Romans numerals resulting in a more sophisticated and stylish appearance while KW88 and KW99 both have a bezels calibrated in Arabic numerals.
There is no much difference in the battery life. Based on the capacity the KW88 and KW99 have higher battery capacity while the new KW88 PRO has a lower battery capacity of 350mAh, but that doesn’t mean the KW88 and KW99 have longer battery life than KW88 PRO. KW88 PRO has a slight higher battery life than the other two. This can be attributed to the fact that the KW88 PRO has a 1GB RAM that reduces request processing time which increases the battery life. The KW88 PRO has a battery life of about 10-20 hours on mixed usage compared to about 6-12 hours of KW88 and KW99.
While KW88 and KW99 both have a 4GB internal storage space which is quite small for a smartwatch phone, the KW88 PRO comes with a massive 16GB internal storage memory. Besides that, KW88 and KW88 PRO both have 2MP camera built in which can’t be found on KW99.
Both KW88 and KW99 run on a lower version of Android OS 5.1 while KW88 PRO runs on Android OS 7.0. KW88 PRO also comes with a higher RAM size which means more done in a shorter time compared to 512MB RAM of KW88 and KW99.
Which Should You Buy?
All these three smartwatches have really great designs, that said your choice will be based on what you want from a smartwatch. Based on the design, both KW88 PRO and KW99 have a sportier look compared to KW99 which has a classic appearance.
In that regard, if you are after a smartwatch with a classic and elegant look then the KW99 will do the magic that is if you don’t want to spend extra on straps, because you can actually alter the appearance of the KW88 PRO to look more like a classic smartwatch by buying a leather strap. Moreover the KW88 PRO look more sophisticated than the other two.
On the other side if you are after a smartwatch with a sporty design then the KW88 PRO does the magic. Being made of aluminum plus the silicon strap gives it that sporty design.
In general, the new KW88 PRO has a better design, looks more sophisticated. It will be a perfect match for any occasion.
