How to Restart Fitbit Versa 3
First, I will show you how to restart the Versa 3. To restart, simply press and hold the haptic button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears. That’s it, you have restarted the Versa 3.
How to Factory Reset Fitbit Versa 3
To do a factory reset of Versa 3 follow the steps below.
- Swipe left to find the settings app icon and tap on it.
- Then, scroll down till you see About Versa 3, tap on it. Just below this, you can see “Shutdown”, tapping on it will shutdown the device. Proceed if you want to reset the device.
- Scroll down to see Factory reset, tap on it and the system will alert you that all your personal data will be erased. Tap on yes if you wish to reset the Fitbit Versa 3.

Ive pressed on shut down as you said and now I can’t get it going again.
The haptic button can be very tricky. You have to make sure your fingers covers the surface of the button properly. Press and hold the button until you see the Fitbit logo, then release your finger.
soft reset didn’t work. fitbit just keeps cycling. icon on then off with a short vibration.
