The MI Watch takes the exact form of the Apple Watch, it isn’t bad a idea to take a clue from the biggest name in the smartwatch industry. Just like the Apple Watch, the Mi watch comes in a 44mm square case with 1.78inch always-on AMOLED display, while it also features a digital crown at exact position as seen on the Apple Watch, and a button is further beside.
It spots an aluminum case material with ceramic back which makes it lightweight and comes with 22mm interchangeable fluoroelastomer straps.
Corning Gorilla Glass mounts the screen for protection. There’s a premium edition of the Mi Watch which features stainless steel case and straps alongside Sapphire crystal glass for screen protection.
There are multiple color options which includes white, blue, silver, and black
The MI watch comes with a massive 570mAh battery capacity which is tested to last 36 hours with continuous cellular connectivity. This is quite impressive, and should make a great choice for those involved in extreme workout activities.
The Mi Watch comes with an e-SIM which supports cellular connectivity up to 4G LTE, this enables you to make and receive calls directly from the Mi Watch which makes it a standalone smartwatch, joining the likes of Ticwatch Pro 4G and Huawei Watch 2 – two other outstanding Wear OS standalone smartwatches.
The MI Watch is fitness-focused and well equipped to track your daily activities. It comes with heart rate sensor, inbuilt GPS, accelerometer and pulse ox sensor. This enables it to track your steps, calories, distance, heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen as well as outdoor activities such as routes and locations.
It’s able to auto detect up to 10 sport activities which includes walking, running, swimming, treadmill, and up-hill running. It also tracks your VO2 max to help you manage your fitness level as well as features FirstBeat algorithms.
