Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Features
The design of Mi Band 2 might not be the perfect description you had expect from a fitness smartwatch, but on average it’s a great design with its sleek and sporty appearance on the wrist.
The screen size of Mi Band 2 is smaller than Mi Band 3, it comes in an 0.4 inch display and has a single touch key for accessing the device.
Probably one of the lightest smartwatches with a very low weight of only 17 grams. Obviously it fills very light on the wrist that you barely know you are putting it on. Beside this, the case and band materials are built with very durable materials.
The band are interchangeable with a 20mm band.
Mi Band 2 is water resistant and it is IP67 certified, this means you can wear this device under rain, in the shower without fearing about damaging the device.
One primary criteria used in accessing a smartwatch is its battery, an issue that has bewildered the smartwatch industry. Despite this manufactures are living up to expectation based on improvement in battery life of most recent smartwatches. The Mi Band 2 has a great battery life, it features a lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 70mAh which on standby could last as long as 20 days while on average usage it lasts up to 10days..
The battery can be charged via a usb charger which takes roughly about two hours to charge up fully.
Mi Band is not one of the best fitness smartwatches in the market ,but for its price I can tell you its worth every penny. It features not the so much extensive fitness tracking features as you would want, but it will take care of the preliminaries and basics.
It has a heart rate sensor which can monitor your heart rate and will also analyze other metrics which you can access and download with the Mi Fit app on your phone
it features a more sensitive pedometer which tracks and monitors steps you take, distance you covered and a host of other fitness tracking features. There is also a sedentary feature that reminds you of warm up workout when you sit for too long.
Notifications & Application
Pairing Mi Band 3 with a compatible smartphone via the Mi Fit app will give you more access to a huge list of other functions that you will probably find very useful.
