What are The Differences?

Features compared
  1. Design
  2. These three smartwatches all have really nice design and their appearances leaves smartwatch fans drooling. However the LG watch w7 has the most spectacular and sophisticated design with its edge-to-edge display featuring a full screen display which is the first of its kind in the smartwatch industry.

  3. Connectivity
  4. LG Watch W7 lacks NFC chips inside but that can be found in both Galaxy watch and Amazfit pace 2S. This means there is no payment feature built into the W7.

  5. Cellular Network
  6. Samsung Galaxy watch is the only smartwatch amongst these three that has support for cellular connectivity. This makes the Galaxy watch a standalone smartwatch that lets you make and receive calls directly from the smartwatch without needing a phone.

  7. Water Resistance
  8. LG Watch W7 is certified IP68 which means it is water resistant up to 1.5 meters, however both the Galaxy watch and Amazfit Stratos are rated 5ATM which means water resistant up to 50meters. As a result, you can wear the Galaxy or Stratos to the pool, no qualms, but you can’t wear the Watch W7 to the pool. So for swimming enthusiasts who want to track their swimming activities, the Watch W7 is not a good idea.

  9. Fitness Tracking
  10. The Watch W7 from LG lacks a Heart rate monitoring sensor meaning you may have to rely on an app which leaves so much doubt with respect to its accuracy. If you which to track your heart rate variations then the W7 is not the perfect choice. However, both Galaxy watch and Amazfit Stratos are great choices for tracking your heart rate

  11. Operating system

Its only LG Watch W7 that runs on Google’s latest Wear OS 2.1 while both Samsung galaxy watch and Amazfit Stratos run on their respective OS. The argument is still on between Wear OS and different proprietary OS. We are still convinced that Wear OS offers that much needed diversity that you might not find in other proprietary OS.

Which Should You Buy

The best choice to buy amongst these three smartwatches will be total dependent on what your preferences for buying a smartwatch are. That said, if are after a really spectacular design, then watch W7 does the magic. It is the first Hybrid watch to run on Wear OS. It also features a edge-to-edge full display, the first of its kind.

However, if you are more concerned about a complete smartwatch that does it all, then the Galaxy watch is the best choice. It is the most comprehensive, it has more features than you will get from either Amazfit stratos or Watch W7 plus it also has a spectacular design that is both classic and prestigious.

If you however want to eat your cake and still have it then Amazfit Stratos will be the best option. It cost far less than both Galaxy watch and Watch W7. It also has great features that compete favorably with any high-end smartwatch.

Our Pick

The Samsung Galaxy is our favorite choice, its more complete and offers better value for the money than any of the other two.
