ECG and blood pressure monitoring for Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3 is now available in 31 more countries of the world which are mostly European countries. Samsung had earlier announced that the company would be updating the GW3 and Active 2 with these features after getting the approval with CE-marking.
CE-marking is an administrative marking that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area.
The 31 countries include Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Ireland Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Denmark. In addition to UAE, Indonesia and Chile.
So, if you reside in any of these countries, you can now download the Samsung health monitor which will allow you access the ECG and blood pressure features on Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2.
How to Install ECG and Blood Pressure Monitor on Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2
To start, you’ll have to install the Samsung Health Monitor app which can be downloaded from the Galaxy store. But before that, you must first update your Galaxy Watch 3 or Active 2 to the latest update on the Galaxy Galaxy Wearable app.
The update is already rolling out in the aforementioned countries. If you haven’t received the update, you have to be patient. You should get a notice on your Watch and the phone was the update is available in your country. You can also try searching for an update from the Galaxy Wearable app.
