One of Samsung’s latest wearable is Galaxy Fit 2, its the successor to Galaxy Fit released last year. It’s quite unfortunate that the Fit 2 just like its predecessor still lacks inbuilt GPS which means that you’ll need to carry your phone along if you intend to track your outdoor activities with this smartband. However, the Fit 2 has a longer battery life, more watch faces, a slightly longer battery life, and a slight modification in the design which resulted in the removal of the side button and introduction of a touchkey button. What is the difference between Samsung Galaxy Fit vs Fit 2? Compare the full specs and features of these two to find out.

What is The Difference?
Both Galaxy Fit and Fit 2 will track your steps, calories, distance, and track your sleep in four stages; deep, awake, light, and REM. These two will also track your resting heart rate and average heart rate. Moreover, both smartbands feature 90 preloaded sport modes and can auto-detect and track 6 exercises, and the stress app on both devices will allow you to manage stress by guiding you through a breathing session.
Both smartbands have the same appearance and body made of aluminum which is accompanied by a silicone strap. It’s also the same AMOLED powering the display of both smartbands which is very vivid and rich in color. You can also reply to notifications with any of these two via quick replies.
However, the difference between Galaxy Fit and Fit 2 is that the latter has a slightly larger display, 1.1 inches compared to 0.95 inches which will allow you to see more at a glance. Galaxy Fit 2 features more watch faces that give you more options, and it also has a longer battery life that lets you go longer from a single charge. While it can last up to 15 days, I have averaged up to 6 days with Galaxy Fit. Moreover, while Galaxy Fit has a physical button by the side, Galaxy Fit 2 has a touchkey at the down part of the display.
Furthermore, Galaxy Fit 2 is cheaper than the Galaxy Fit.
