The Differences
Basically, each of these two is equipped to track your daily activities like your heart rate, SpO2 blood oxygen levels, stress, sleep, heart rate, and calories. Each of these two also has an inbuilt GPS that enables you to track your outdoor activities. And as well, each of these two watches can help you manage notifications received on your phone.
However, the difference between GS Pro and Watch ES is that the former has a more durable and sophisticated build, has a microphone, loudspeaker, more activity-tracking features, and a longer battery life that makes it a better and more comprehensive smartwatch than Watch ES. Although, Watch ES which is also fitness-centric is very lightweight and cheaper.

The GS Pro is certified MIL-STD-810G which makes it a rugged and a more durable smartwatch than Watch ES. Although it’s quite bulky, thick, and heavy at 45g (without straps) compared to Watch ES that weighs only 21g (without straps), and is also very slim at 10.7mm. In other words, Watch ES is more comfortable to wear.
Both Watch ES and GS Pro have music storage capability, however, GS Pro is equipped with a microphone and loudspeaker that enable you to make and receive calls directly from the watch when the connected phone is nearby. Watch ES lacks Bluetooth calling because there’s no microphone and loudspeaker.
In terms of activity tracking features, each of these two will track your steps, calories, heart rate, sleep, distance, as well as feature blood oxygen Spo2, menstrual, and stress tracking. There’s also inbuilt GPS in each of these two that allows you to track outdoor activities.

It’s tested to last up to 25 days with light usage and 14 days with heavy usage and up to 100 hours with continuous GPS tracking. Meanwhile, Watch ES has just about 10 days long battery life which is still very impressive.

Which is Better?
Clearly, GS Pro is a better smartwatch than Watch ES, it has more features as well as longer battery life, and a more durable build, it’s a perfect outdoor smartwatch.
Meanwhile, Watch ES is a cheaper alternative that is also fitness-centric and features music storage with a long battery life.
