The aluminum case used on the Vapor X makes it lightweight, it weighs slight less than the other two which makes it a more comfortable wear all day long.
A touchscreen is supported on all three, except that the Vapor X has three buttons instead of one on the Vapor 2 and Vapor. Misfit added 2 push-in buttons to the Vapor X which makes navigation easier.
The Snapdragon 3100 chip released last year powers the Vapor X. The 3100 chip brings significant change to the new Vapor X which results in a faster performing device than the Vapor 2 and its predecessor. So, you can expect the Vapor X to respond faster with overall improved user experience.
Each of this three is equipped to track your active life with all the standard sensors onboard. Standard sensors present enables each of these to track your steps, calories, sleep and other related activities.
Moreover, GPS is inbuilt in Vapor 2 and X which makes these two better choices for outdoor activity tracking which allows you to see your pace in real-time. Unlike the Vapor which lacks inbuilt GPS.
The Vapor X with improved performance has more apps such as the new Cardiogram app which makes it a more complete activity tracker than the other two. Although, newly added apps might come to older models in future updates.
With the Snapdragon 2100 chip Wear OS smartwatches languished as they have relatively short battery life. However, the 3100 chip addresses this problem with a battery saver feature that’ll keep the Vapor X going for a few more days.
The Vapor X has the same battery life as the Vapor 2, but its battery saver feature will see it last additional 2 days or more. Although with battery saver mode activated, all Wear OS features become inactive.
